Trout can be found in North America, Europe, Northern Asia, and even the Ocean. Cool, clear, fresh water is what the trout prefer. However, some trout will head to the ocean during their adulthood and return to their original fresh water spot when it is time for them to spawn. To get started, you can guess that almost any trout will feed on nightcrawlers or worms. Mayflies, caddis flies, and stone flies are other bait trout like for feeding.
