Some of the disadvantages of Invisalign are significant. The product must be worn 23 hours per day to do it s job. Therefore, unless you re eating or bruising your teeth they need to be in. Each time you consume any food or drinks, the trays must be removed as well. Otherwise the patient can experience decay compliments of sugar and food collecting in the trays. Trays are quite difficult to remove initially. This can be awkward and uncomfortable to the neophyte. Finally, the cost of these braces is typically higher than traditional braces.
So what should you choose? Will it be Invisalign braces or metal ones? Do your research and decide what is most important to you. Both techniques have pros and cons but at the finish, with both you should end with a lovely smile!
