When it comes to learning how to play the guitar there are many new skills that must be acquired. From learning to hold the guitar to learning how to care for it there are many steps involved and some beginners struggle to master the basics. For many beginning guitarists, it takes time to get used to the awkward finger positions required to play notes and scales. It does not come naturally to many people, so practice is very important when learning to play the guitar. As you practice you will be able to strike chord positions more quickly and you will be learn to transition from one chord to another.
