Everyone would like to be able to defend themselves on the street. And a whole host of so called martial arts experts are quite keen to cash in on your fear and naivety. They tell you that they know some secret fighting technique that will make you look like Bruce Lee within weeks. Hopefully, you will not fall for such a scam but there are some who have. Unfortunately, legitimate experts have found themselves embroiled in these seedy shenanigans all because they are selling a self defense program. The thing is, some programs are the real deal and will improve your chances of dealing with an attack.
Scams take advantage of greedy and foolish people, promising them something that they could only have dreamed possible. Not only that, they promise it fast. Oh yes, nothing gets the masses off the couch and onto the internet to divulge their credit card details quite like the chance to get something cheap and quick. You see, whether they want to admit it or not, most people are lazy and will jump at the first chance they have of achieving something worthwhile whilst cutting corners. They don't realize that you can get nothing worthwhile without working for it.
No one can go from sitting on their backside eating potato chips to become a fighting machine in a handful of sessions. Dedication is vital if you want to achieve anything in life and being able to defend yourself is no different. Even if you are not the violent type, you still should learn how to look after yourself and your loved ones if the worst happens. The streets are no longer safe for people to walk with attacks even happening in broad daylight.
Those who are jealous of legitimate self defense programs try to say that what they are telling you is false. Mind you, such accusations normally come from those who are competing against them in the self defense market. Many of these charlatans have been undressed as frauds and they aim to take down a hardworking person. They sell DVD's and videos that could actually get their viewers in real trouble because they don't tell them the first thing about real life self defense. Rather than insult, perhaps they should concentrate on releasing legitimate videos like he has for the safety of everyone interested in defending themselves.
So don't believe this false acusations and focus on learn true self defense.
